Julie and Rob delve into Party City’s new plans in terms of stores and the experience they aim to provide. Julie explains how Party City is trying to move away from the notion of being the seller, producer, and provider of products, to being the provider of the whole party experience.

She explains how Party City stores all over the country are becoming more holistic — they aim to be able to showcase everything from the catering, to the music to the clean-up and so on. The two keywords the company is focusing on are ‘easy’ and ‘joy’ — they want to make it easy to create joy.
